Widely considered one of the funniest plays in English, Wilde’s much-loved masterpiece The Importance Of Being Earnest throws love, logic and language into the air to make one of theatre’s most dazzling firework displays.

Jack, Algy, Gwendolyn and Cecily discover how un-smooth runs the course of true love, while Lady Bracknell keeps a baleful eye on the mayhem of manners.

  • Please bring your own seating 
  • Please bring appropriate clothing, as the weather could change during the perfomance.
  • You are more than welcome to bring a picnic 
  • The Malt House Coffee Shop will be open until the interval selling tea/coffee and cake.
  • Tickets are non transferable or refundable unless the event is cancelled by Harvington Hall or the Crescent Theatre.
