Professor Tracy Borman - The House of Boleyn: the true story of Tudor England’s most famous family Sat 25th July 1.30pm
The Boleyns were the most famous family in Tudor England and the dramatic story of their rise and fall continues to enthral today, 500 years after Anne Boleyn's bloody demise at the Tower of London. In her new novel The House of Boleyn, best-selling author Tracy Borman immerses us in their world at Hever Castle, their beautiful Kent home. It was here that they plotted and schemed, grieved and rejoiced – and where Henry VIII pursued Anne Boleyn relentlessly. In this illustrated talk, Tracy will tell the real story that inspired her new book and will take the audience behind closed doors to explore the Boleyns as they've never seen them before.
